Pet Sleep Calculator & Tracker

Plan rest for your dog or cat, log observed sleep and bring clear records to your vet.

Educational guidance, not a diagnosis. Stillness is not always sleep. Missing observations are not zero sleep.

How it works & sources

Reference bands are educational planning ranges, not validated individual targets. Puppy: 18–20 h; adult dog: 12–14 h; senior dog: 12–18 h. Adult cat: 12–18 h; kitten and senior cat: 12–20 h, with greater uncertainty. Senior thresholds are working categories, not a medical definition.

There is no universal night-versus-nap prescription. Reports show the split you log; allow your pet to rest naturally.

A sleep total alone cannot diagnose illness. If your pet has difficulty breathing, collapses or is hard to wake, contact a veterinarian promptly.

Frequently asked questions

Does this track my pet automatically?

No. Start and stop timers or add observed intervals. A running timer does not prove your pet stayed asleep; correct it if needed.

Can I track more than one pet?

Yes. Each pet has its own profile, timers, logs and reports. No collar or account is needed.

Is my data synced or shared?

Pet records stay in IndexedDB in this browser. There is no cloud sync. You choose when to export or share a file.
